Meet the founder
Built by a Veteran. Driven by Integrity.
True Human Mark is a veteran-owned business, founded by Andrew J. Armstrong, a United States Marine Corps veteran who believes that trust, transparency, and accountability are not just values. They are standards.
Andrew J. Armstrong
Marine. Mechanic. Builder.
Andrew J. Armstrong
AJ Armstrong is an Indiana native from Crawfordsville and North Salem. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2003 to 2008, including a deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, as an intermediate-level jet engine mechanic. After his service, he maintained F/A-18s at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, earned his FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, and worked on commercial aircraft.
He later moved into technical sales — first teaching technical-college students tool use and safety, and today working in industrial sales. Aviation runs on written standards and traceable records: work isn't accepted until the record shows it meets the standard. True Human Mark applies that same discipline to written work. AJ lives in Indiana with his family.
Why a veteran built a certification company
In the Marine Corps, you learn quickly that standards exist for a reason. When you sign your name to something, whether a maintenance log, a mission brief, or a piece of work, you are accountable for it. AJ saw the same principle being eroded online: content without attribution, products without provenance, and audiences left to guess what was real and what was generated. True Human Mark is his answer to that problem. A clear, credible standard that holds creators accountable and gives audiences the transparency they deserve.
The values behind the mark
Accountability
Every badge is a commitment. We hold certified creators to the same standard AJ held himself to in the Corps and in the hangar.
Precision
An A&P mechanic doesn't guess. Neither do we. Our certification methodology is rigorous, documented, and evidence based.
Integrity
We are pro transparency, not anti AI. We believe in honest labeling, and we practice what we certify.
