Who it's for
For writers
True Human Mark helps writers document and communicate how their work was created — giving readers, clients, and publishers a standardized, verifiable transparency signal.
What THM certification does for writers
THM certification is not a marketing badge. It is a documented, evidence-based record of how a specific work was produced — reviewed against a published standard.
Document your production process
Build a documented record of how each work was created — drafts, research, sources, and editorial correspondence — organized around the THM certification standard.
Respond to questions about your work
When readers, clients, or publishers ask how your content was created, a THM certification gives you a standardized, verifiable answer backed by reviewed evidence.
Give readers a transparency signal
Provide your audience with a consistent, standardized way to understand how your content is produced — without having to explain your process from scratch each time.
Build a documented record over time
Each certified work contributes to a documented record of your production process. Certification applies to individual works, not to your entire body of work.
Who the initial pilot is for
True Human Mark is initially certifying original written content. The initial pilot focuses on:
Other content categories — video, audio, photography, art, and others — may be added after appropriate standards and verification procedures are developed. THM is starting with written content.
What to expect
Certification is per work
Each certification applies to a specific submitted work. Certifying one article does not certify your entire body of work. Each submission is evaluated individually.
Evidence is required
Certification is based on reviewed evidence, not unsupported claims. You will need to submit documentation of your creation process along with the work.
AI use does not disqualify
THM is pro transparency, not anti AI. Work that involved AI tools in a supporting role can receive certification under the appropriate designation.
Your evidence stays confidential
Submitted evidence is treated as confidential. The public certification record shows the designation, scope, and date — not your submitted documentation.
