Who it's for
For publishers and organizations
How publishers and organizations may eventually use THM standards to establish consistent content transparency practices.
Current launch scope. True Human Mark is currently focused on certifying individual written works submitted by independent writers, journalists, bloggers, and newsletter publishers. Publisher and organizational integrations are in future development. This page describes how THM may work with publishers and organizations in future phases.
The transparency challenge for publishers
Publishers and editorial organizations face increasing pressure to communicate how their content is produced. Readers, advertisers, and partners want to understand the production process — not just who published the content.
A consistent, standardized framework for documenting and communicating the production process would give publishers a credible way to address that demand.
Consistent transparency practices
Publishers may use THM standards to establish consistent practices for documenting and communicating how content is produced across their editorial team.
A standardized disclosure framework
Rather than developing a proprietary disclosure system, publishers may adopt the THM standard as a recognized, independent framework.
Verifiable records
THM certification records are publicly verifiable. Readers and partners can verify a certification using the certification ID without relying solely on the publisher's own disclosure.
Future development
Platform integrations, API access, and organizational certification programs are in future development. THM will publish details as these capabilities are developed.
